Asus via hd audio driver, windows 10 i have an asus g75vw. i upgraded to windows 10 yesterday and it seems to have disabled my internal speakers. i believe the default speakers run on the via hd audio drivers but i am not sure. i also have a list of multiple nvidia high definition audio drivers under the audio section in the device. The model of my laptop is asus g75vw-bbk5. and as far as i know, the via device on this machine is a vt1802. the via hd audio driver installed by windows 10 automatically is very problematic as far as switching audio output modes..
I have a g75vw laptop from asus with via hd audio and the 5.1 audio doesn't work with any of the drivers. i don't know if this is due to the drivers just not being available yet, or if there's some trick to make them work, but right now i can only get 2.0 audio from the laptop..
